    Just recently, Kyocera became the first solar panel in the world to pass TUV Rheinland’s (A 3rd party testing agency) Long Term Sequential test of solar PV module output.   This test involves using the same solar panel in four sub-tests: Damp Heat, Thermal Cycling, Humidit Freeze, and Bypass Diode.  Most testing agencies will use a different module for each of the four environmental tests, but TUV Rheinland’s is the first to test the module so harshly, better simulating real-world conditions.  Kyocera is still the only solar panel to have passed this test.
